Cotton Mill Open Doors 2019 Video Contest
Thanks to everyone who came by to see my booth at the Cotton Mill!
This year I've put the answers to the video contest into a video reel that shows an expanded context for the locations which should make it clear where they are.

Answers to Cotton Mill Open House Video Contest 2018

1. Formerly Austine School for the Deaf; now Winston Prouty Center, The Garland School, High Five, etc.
Location
2. Maple Valley Ski Area (abandoned)
Location
3. The Book Press (Not C&S!) - This is the other large property managed by the BDCC, besides the Cotton Mill. It was once a huge printing company and warehouse, and is now the home of numerous shipping, retail, and light industry businesses, similar to the Cotton Mill. Among them are Echo Point books, Against the Grain, and Degrees of Comfort.
Location
4. SIT/ World Learning
Location
5. Indian Pond - in the Madame Sherri Forest (on the East side of Mt. Wantastiquet)- I accepted pretty much anything for this that describes where it is.
Location
6. West River - just North of the Marina, by the Outing Club docks. (I accepted 'Retreat Meadows' as an answer as well)
Location
7. Judging stand at the Harris Hill ski jump
Location
8. Cold Spring, Upper Dummerston Rd., near the Country Club, and just off of Rt. 30. The stone features were built by the retreat, though I don't believe the location is part of the Retreat Trails, at least not currently. 150 years ago this spring was a featured part of Dr. Wesselhoeft's Hydropathic Institution, which put Brattleboro on the map.
Here's an interesting webpage about it.

Location
You can even see the stonework on Google Streetview, as it's quite close to the road: Streetview link
9. Black Mountain
Location
10. Weatherhead Hollow, Guilford - I also accepted 'Guilford Pond', as it is often known. Location
